El Festival de Cortos de Bogot\u00e1 \/ Bogot\u00e1 Short Film Festival – BOGOSHORTS<\/strong> celebrar\u00e1 su vig\u00e9sima edici\u00f3n del 6 al 13 de diciembre de 2022<\/strong> en la ciudad de Bogot\u00e1, Colombia. Como es costumbre, desde el 9 de abril<\/strong> (fecha de El Bogotazo) hasta el 6 de agosto<\/strong> (Fundaci\u00f3n de Bogot\u00e1), cortometrajes de todo el mundo podr\u00e1n participar en las convocatorias de las competencias oficiales del festival que ser\u00e1n premiadas con la Santa Luc\u00eda.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

\nSECCIONES EN COMPETENCIA<\/strong><\/p>\n

Realizadores y productores colombianos est\u00e1n invitados a participar en la Competencia Nacional<\/strong>, en la que se premian las categor\u00edas de Ficci\u00f3n, Documental, Animaci\u00f3n, Experimental y Videoclip y otras categor\u00edas t\u00e9cnicas y art\u00edsticas que contribuyen al reconocimiento de los diferentes oficios que enriquecen al sector audiovisual del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

La Competencia Internacional<\/strong>, por otro lado, se encuentra abierta para realizadores de todo el mundo (excluyendo Colombia) y premia con la Santa Luc\u00eda<\/strong> las categor\u00edas de Ficci\u00f3n, Documental, Animaci\u00f3n, Experimental y Videoclip.<\/p>\n

Los aspirantes tambi\u00e9n podr\u00e1n inscribirse a las competencias F3 – Fan\u00e1tico Freak Fant\u00e1stico<\/strong>, conformada por cortometrajes de terror, ciencia ficci\u00f3n, fantas\u00eda, o de g\u00e9neros relacionados (comedia negra, crimen, realismo m\u00e1gico, acci\u00f3n, suspenso, sobre superh\u00e9roes, etc.) y la Competencia VR<\/strong>, para cortometrajes producidos en 360\u00b0, en 2D y 3D, de cualquier pa\u00eds del mundo (incluyendo Colombia).<\/p>\n

Todos los cortometrajes inscritos ser\u00e1n susceptibles de ser incluidos en la Competencia Colecciones<\/strong> en la que se entrega el Premio del P\u00fablico BOGOSHORTS<\/strong>, conformada por programas tem\u00e1ticos que destacan la diversidad y estilo de los cortometrajes, y la Competencia Conexi\u00f3n<\/strong>, enfocada en crear din\u00e1micas de reconocimiento y co-producci\u00f3n entre realizadores de pa\u00edses iberoamericanos.<\/p>\n

FESTIVAL CALIFICADOR A LOS PREMIOS OSCAR Y GOYA<\/strong><\/p>\n

Desde 2018, BOGOSHORTS<\/strong> fue incluido en la lista de festivales calificadores de cortometrajes a los Premios de la Academia (Academy Awards\u00ae)<\/strong>. Los cortometrajes ganadores de la Santa Luc\u00eda a Mejor Corto Ficci\u00f3n, Mejor Corto Documental <\/strong>y Mejor Corto Animaci\u00f3n<\/strong> de la Competencia Nacional<\/strong> ser\u00e1n elegibles para su consideraci\u00f3n a los Premios de la Academia en la siguiente temporada.<\/p>\n

As\u00ed mismo, desde el 2020, el Bogot\u00e1 Short Film Festival \/ Festival de cortos de Bogot\u00e1 – BOGOSHORTS<\/strong> hace parte del listado oficial de festivales internacionales calificadores de cortometrajes espa\u00f1oles a los Premios Goya<\/strong>. La selecci\u00f3n de las competencias oficiales del festival les dar\u00e1 la oportunidad de presentar su candidatura a las categor\u00edas de Mejor Cortometraje de Ficci\u00f3n <\/strong>y Mejor Cortometraje Documental.<\/strong><\/p>\n

REQUISITOS DE INSCRIPCI\u00d3N<\/strong>
\n<\/strong><\/em>
\nPara inscribirse, realizadores y productores deben tener en cuenta que solo se aceptar\u00e1n obras de Ficci\u00f3n, Documental, Animaci\u00f3n, Experimental y Videoclips de m\u00e1ximo 30 minutos<\/strong>, producidos desde el 1 de enero de 2021<\/strong>, que no hayan tenido ninguna exhibici\u00f3n p\u00fablica en Colombia y que no se encuentren publicados en Internet (excepto videoclips).<\/p>\n

El proceso de inscripci\u00f3n se llevar\u00e1 a cabo \u00fanicamente a trav\u00e9s de la plataforma ShortFilmDepot<\/strong> (www.shortfilmdepot.com<\/a>). No se aceptar\u00e1 ning\u00fan tipo de copia f\u00edsica ni screeners por fuera de la plataforma, y se aplicar\u00e1 una tarifa de inscripci\u00f3n con dos per\u00edodos de pago:<\/p>\n

– Del 9 de abril al 6 de junio de 2022<\/strong>, la inscripci\u00f3n ser\u00e1 gratuita para la Competencia Nacional, la Competencia F3 – Fan\u00e1tico Freak Fant\u00e1stico y la Competencia VR, y se aplicar\u00e1 una tasa de 5 USD<\/strong> para la Competencia Internacional.<\/p>\n

– Del 7 de junio al 6 de agosto de 2022<\/strong>, la inscripci\u00f3n ser\u00e1 gratuita para la Competencia Nacional y Competencia VR, se aplicar\u00e1 una tasa de 5 USD<\/strong> a la Competencia F3 – Fan\u00e1tico Freak Fant\u00e1stico y se aplicar\u00e1 una tasa de 10 USD<\/strong> para la Competencia Internacional.<\/p>\n

Todos los cortometrajes colombianos, de coproducci\u00f3n colombiana o dirigidos por colombianos se deben inscribir en la COMPETENCIA NACIONAL<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

VIDEOLIBRER\u00cdA 6\u00b0 BFM – BOGOSHORTS FILM MARKET<\/strong><\/p>\n

Adicionalmente, los cortometrajes de ficci\u00f3n, documental, animaci\u00f3n y experimental producidos en pa\u00edses de Iberoam\u00e9rica (excluyendo Portugal), por realizadores originarios de pa\u00edses iberoamericanos o en coproducci\u00f3n con estos, inscritos en las diferentes competencias de la convocatoria y que cumplan a cabalidad el Reglamento de la misma, ser\u00e1n incluidos sin costo adicional en la Videolibrer\u00eda BFM<\/strong> de la sexta edici\u00f3n del BFM – BOGOSHORTS Film Market<\/strong>. En la Videolibrer\u00eda, que busca promover la circulaci\u00f3n de la producci\u00f3n audiovisual Iberoamericana, tambi\u00e9n son bienvenidos episodios de series web producidas en la regi\u00f3n, que podr\u00e1n ser inscritos en la secci\u00f3n EPISODIOS SERIES WEB – VIDEOLIBRER\u00cdA BFM (SECCI\u00d3N NO COMPETITIVA)<\/strong>, de la convocatoria en ShortFilmDepot (leer el numeral 6 del Reglamento para m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n).<\/p>\n

Call for entries for the 20\u00b0 BOGOSHORTS is now open<\/em><\/h2>\n

The Bogot\u00e1 Short Film Festival \/ Festival de Cortos de Bogot\u00e1 – BOGOSHORTS will celebrate its twentieth edition from December 6 to 13, 2022<\/strong> in Bogot\u00e1, Colombia. As every year, the call to participate in the official competitions of the festival, awarded with the Santa Luc\u00eda statuette<\/strong>, will be open from April 9<\/strong> (date of ‘El Bogotazo’) to August 6<\/strong> (Bogot\u00e1\u2019s foundation date).<\/p>\n

COMPETITIVE SECTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Colombian filmmakers and producers are invited to participate in the National Competition<\/strong>, which awards Fiction, Documentary, Animation, Experimental and Videoclip categories, as well as other technical and artistic categories that contribute to the recognition of the different professions that enrich the country’s audiovisual sector.<\/p>\n

The International Competition<\/strong>, on the other hand, is open to filmmakers from all over the world (excluding Colombia) and awards the Santa Luc\u00eda in the categories of Fiction, Documentary, Animation, Experimental and Videoclip.<\/p>\n

Applicants may also enter the F3 – Fan Freak Fantastic Competition<\/strong>, for short films in horror, science fiction, fantasy or related genres (black comedy, crime, magical realism, action, suspense, superheroes, etc.) and the VR Competition<\/strong>, for short films produced in 360\u00b0, in 2D and 3D, from any country in the world (including Colombia)<\/p>\n

All short films entered will be eligible to be included in the Collections Competition<\/strong>, where the BOGOSHORTS Audience Award <\/strong>will be presented, made up of thematic programs that highlight the diversity and style of the short films, and the Connection Competition<\/strong>, focused on creating dynamics of recognition and co-production between filmmakers from Ibero-American countries.<\/p>\n

OSCAR’S AND GOYA QUALIFYING FESTIVAL<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since the 2018 edition, the festival has been included on the list of qualifying short film festivals for the Academy Awards\u00ae<\/strong>. For this reason, the winning short films of the Santa Luc\u00eda<\/strong> for Best Fiction Short Film, Best Documentary Short Film <\/strong>and Best Animation Short Film of the National Competition<\/strong> may be eligible for consideration to the concurrent season.<\/p>\n

In addition, since 2020, the Bogot\u00e1 Short Film Festival – BOGOSHORTS<\/strong> is part of the official list of international festivals that qualify Spanish short films for the Goya Awards<\/strong>. The selection in the official competitions of the festival will give them the opportunity to present their candidacy for the categories of Best Fiction Short Film <\/strong>and Best Documentary Short Film<\/strong> in the next season.<\/p>\n

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION<\/strong><\/p>\n

Filmmakers and producers must consider that the call for entries will only receive Fiction, Documentary, Animation, Experimental short films and Videoclips of maximum 30 minutes<\/strong>, produced after January 1, 2021<\/strong>, that have not had any public screening in Colombia and that are not available on the internet (except videoclips).<\/p>\n

The registration process will be carried out only through the ShortFilmDepot<\/strong> platform (www.shortfilmdepot.com<\/a>). Any kind of physical screening copy or online screeners will NOT be accepted. There is a submission fee with two payment deadlines:<\/p>\n

– From April 9 to June 6, 2022<\/strong>, the submission will be free for the National Competition, the F3 – Fan Freak Fantastic Competition and the VR Competition, and a 5 USD<\/strong> fee will apply for the International Competition.<\/p>\n

– From June 7 to August 6, 2022<\/strong>, the registration will be free for the National Competition and the VR Competition, a 5 USD<\/strong> fee will apply for the F3 – Fan Freak Fantastic Competition<\/strong>, and a 10 USD<\/strong> fee for the International Competition.<\/p>\n

Every short film from Colombia, Colombian co-productions or short films directed by Colombian filmmakers must be submitted to the NATIONAL COMPETITION.<\/strong><\/p>\n

All films must pay the service fee (stamp) of the ShortFilmDepot platform.<\/p>\n

6\u00b0 BFM – BOGOSHORTS FILM MARKET VIDEOLIBRARY<\/strong><\/p>\n

Additionally, fiction, documentary, animation and experimental short films produced in Ibero-American countries (excluding Portugal), by filmmakers from Ibero-American countries or in co-production with them, submitted for the different competitions and fully complying with the Regulations of the same, will be included without additional cost in the BFM Videolibrary<\/strong> of the sixth edition of the BFM – BOGOSHORTS Film Market<\/strong>. In the Videolibrary, which seeks to promote the circulation of Ibero-American audiovisual production, episodes of web series produced in the region are also welcome, which may be entered to the section WEB SERIES EPISODES – BFM VIDEOLIBRARY (NON-COMPETITIVE SECTION)<\/strong>, of the call in ShortFilmDepot (read section 6 of the Regulations for more information).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
