Dej\u00f3 una obra cinematogr\u00e1fica memorable. Entre otros films, se destacan \u00abTire Di\u00e9\u00bb, \u00abLos inundados\u00bb y \u00abMi hijo el Che\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Considerado como el padre de la corriente Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano, el director Fernando Birri muri\u00f3 a los 92 a\u00f1os, en Roma. En 1956 regres\u00f3 a Santa Fe, para fundar el Instituto de Cinematograf\u00eda de la Universidad Nacional del Litoral.<\/p>\n<p>Realiz\u00f3 su primera pel\u00edcula en la Escuela Documental de Santa Fe, se trata del cortometraje \u00abTire Di\u00e9\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Fue el fundador de la Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisi\u00f3n de San Antonio de Los Ba\u00f1os de Cuba, de la que tambi\u00e9n fue director y desde all\u00ed uno de los iniciadores del nuevo cine latinoamericano.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"mceTemp\"><\/div>\n<p><iframe
